Just Play: IWD 2025 – Nothing to Prove

For too long, female athletes have been told they have something to prove. That they need to justify their presence, their strength, their skill. But we’re done proving. We’re here to play.

On International Women’s Day 2025, we’re celebrating the resilience, talent, and undeniable impact of women in Ultimate. Through our Just Play campaign, we reached out to our female sponsored athletes, asking them to share their experiences with sexism and the biases they’ve encountered in Ultimate.

Their willingness to open up about these challenges is both powerful and necessary—it sheds light on the obstacles female athletes continue to face while reaffirming their strength, tenacity, and rightful place in the sport.

Women in Ultimate don’t need permission. They don’t need validation. They've always belonged here. So today, we stand with confidence. We are here to play—nothing more, nothing less. 

We play because we love the game, and that’s all that should ever matter. Just play.
