Meet Zelle
Zelle Mot is a BE Ultimate sponsored athlete known for her speed, explosiveness, and disruptive defense. One half of the Mot twins, she has built a reputation as a relentless defender who consistently generates blocks and momentum-shifting plays.
A longtime member of Team Canada, Zelle continues to represent her country on the international stage, including competing with the Mixed Beach National Team at the 2025 World Beach Ultimate Championships.
At the club level, she transitioned from Vancouver Traffic to the mixed division, now deciding her path for 2026. Her resume includes a UCI championship in 2021, silver at WUCC in 2022, and a CUC title in 2023, along with a runner-up finish for Ultiworld’s 2022 Club Defensive Player of the Year.
Coming off the 2025 season, she remains one of Canada’s most impactful defensive players.
