Meet Mika
Mika Kurahashi has been a BE Ultimate sponsored athlete for the past year, and 2025 is shaping up to be her biggest season yet. Based in Vancouver, she plays for the UBC Thunderbirds, Vancouver Red Flag, and Team Canada—and was recently selected for the 2025 World Games. In 2024, she helped lead Team Canada to a silver medal in the mixed division at the World Ultimate Championships. Mika’s resume is packed with standout achievements: she was named to the D-I Women’s All-American First Team in 2023 and the Second Team in 2024, earned a spot among the Top 25 Division I players in 2024, and was the second runner-up for Ultiworld’s 2023 D-I Women’s Offensive Player of the Year. With her sharp field sense, explosive athleticism, and relentless drive, Mika continues to leave her mark on every stage she steps onto.
